Hey, I'm Janik

I’m Janik – 26, endlessly curious, and probably juggling five projects as you read this. My background blends design, tech, engineering, and physics – always with an eye for what happens in the spaces in between. Along the way, I’ve taught classes, worked on a bunch of projects and flown across continents as cabin crew to see the world. Right now, I'm adding to the mix by diving deep into data science and AI.

You may have guessed - my life feels a bit like Tetris on hard mode. But every block I place, I choose with great care and every commitment I make I follow through with dedication. I’ve always enjoyed following questions wherever they lead – whether that’s into a lab, a sketchbook, or a conversation. I care about exciting research, thoughtful design, accessible technology and about how we can make complex things feel a little more human.

When I’m not working, teaching or studying, you might find me exploring new cities, sketching ideas on digital napkins, or deep in a podcast rabbit hole about whatever’s next on the horizon.
