Hey, I'm Janik

I’m Janik – 27, endlessly curious, and probably juggling five projects as you read this. My background blends design, tech, engineering, physics and the clinical application of AI – always with an eye for what's happening in the spaces between. Along the way I have taught classes in design and engineering, worked on a bunch of side projects and have flown across continents as cabin crew to see the world.

A well-kept calender keeps everything on track, taming what I sometimes describe as playing life like Tetris on hard mode. Every piece I add to the puzzle, I choose with great care as every commitment I make I follow through with dedication.

I care about exciting research, thoughtful design, accessible technology and about how we can make complex things feel a little more human. I’ve always enjoyed following these kinds of questions wherever they lead – whether that’s into a lab, a sketchbook, or a conversation.

When I’m not working, teaching or studying, you might find me fixing up my flat, sketching ideas on digital napkins, or deep in a podcast rabbit hole about whatever’s next on the horizon.
